How I Got Here

I’ve been obsessed with art for as long as I can remember. When I was sixteen, I moved away from home to attend an arts high school, living apart from my family and friends, spending a full year completely immersed in traditional studio practice. That early deep dive showed me what it actually takes to build a creative career: it’s equal parts discipline, continuous practice, and genuine curiosity.

Since graduating college, I’ve worked my way up from Graphic Designer to Art Director. I know how to take a brand through major visual evolutions, pitch high-stakes ideas to leadership, and run fast-moving campaigns without letting quality slip. To keep my hands-on craft sharp, I’ve always kept one foot in the commercial world and the other in independent design: illustrating custom products, running my own e-commerce storefronts, and building an engaged online community.

What Actually Drives Me

I’m a visual thinker through and through. When a new project lands, I don't open a template. I spend time diving into moodboards, looking at cultural shifts, and figuring out what actually hooks a community.

  • The Strategy Part: Design shouldn't just be pretty; it should also be functional. I build thoughtful visual systems that actually perform, and I rely on workflow tools like Asana and ZiFlow to keep projects organized and running smoothly on tight deadlines.

  • The Creative Part: My work centers on digital illustration, custom typography, and hand-lettering. Spending time outside of work building my own art and design portfolio keeps ideas fresh and allows me to bring new techniques and ideas to my day job.

Off the Clock

When I’m not at my desk or drawing on my iPad, I’m usually out hitting my daily step goal, resetting in a hot yoga studio, or hunting down a great iced chai from a local coffee spot.

I’m an avid thrifter and enjoy finding unique things for my home or closet. To unwind after a fast-paced week, you’ll usually find me spending a quiet evening playing The Sims.

I’m looking for my next role in Art Direction, Graphic Design, or Creative Leadership. I want to partner with outdoor, activewear, wellness, and lifestyle brands that care about authentic visual storytelling, community roots, and great design execution.

If you’re looking for an Art Director who combines strategy with hands-on craft, let’s talk!
